Comme des Garcons wallet (an all-time favorite)
Filson 256 briefcase

I'm at least succeeding in not buying trendy crap in favor of sturdy things that will last a long time. The smartphone is also one of the best things I've ever gotten for myself. I didn't expect to enjoy reading Kindle books, texting people, or answering e-mail while walking nearly as much as I do.

  1. i have the same CdG wallet in red. it's easily one of my best purchases ever. 3+ yrs now and still looks like it's brand new! here's to not buying trendy crap - and your Filson bag looks great! :)

i resisted the Kindle revolution as well but my parents regifted a kindle to me this christmas - i've taken it everywhere and it's remarkably handy. :)

  2. Miss Sophie, that's kind of your folks! I keep reading that if Amazon continues to drop prices at the same rate, it'll be free next year. I don't know if that's ever going to be true, but they're certainly already a great deal. I don't have one right now, but I'm liking Kindle for Blackberry.

  3. Loving the filson, as always, and the CdG wallet.....yum! I don't stray much from my MJ zip wallet anymore, but I'm in the market for a smaller wallet...

I didn't think I'd ever say this because the last two years with it has been so frustrating, but I actually MISS my blackberry sometimes. So fine. There. Are you a little happy that I left? The apple & android toys really fail at texting & e-mail. They think they have it good, with all the extra features, but they have nothing on the blackberry.

  4. I'm a huge fan of the CdG wallets too! One of those mega-happiness things that I keep getting on sale but that I've never worn down enough to actually warrant new ones. They're not that small, though. They're the size of two Blackberry Bold phones (smaller than Curve models) side by side.
