what's there to know about image resizing? One at a time, just about everything is the same as just about everything else. For large batches, there are plenty of ways to automate it; photoshop can automatically resize batches of photos, and there are plenty more command-line solutions.
Well, I'm having a problem with my images that's too specific to go into detail about here. They're coming out grainy but only after going through the resizing. I think it's a more specific problem than you imply...
